I’m always glad when my studio warms up in springtime. The above painting which I worked on through a cold February and March and was delivered to a happy client. A painting of this size is pretty all consuming in the studio so once this ambitious project was complete, I’ve been spending my studio time painting small subjects that can be completed in one or two sessions. The following paintings range in size from 3″ x 5″ to 8″ x 10″, they are all acrylic on panel. I have started another large painting, 36″ x 48″, the subject is the Twin Sisters mountain range with a dramatic cloudscape and probably some airborbe geese, I never know how the finished image will look until I get there. Stay Tuned.

Time again for the Morgan Block Artist Collective Open Studio. Come on down to Fairhaven this friday, the front door will be open to the public and various studios will be open throughout the day until 7pm. PatternArt Studio & Gallery will be open at 2:00 pm and will remain open until 7:00.

These evil, idiotic days will end eventually, imagine the worldwide party when he’s finally gone.

Keep on truckin, brighter days ahead
