“Northwest Connection” opening July 18 at Matzke Gallery and Sculpture Park, promises to be an eclectic exhibition of the finest regional artists presented by Karla Matzke. My lovely wife and extraordinary painter Nanacy Canyon has 7 paintings in this summer show, two of them displayed below.
Matzke Gallery and Sculpture Park is an enjoyable day trip destination. You can wander through the beautifully landscaped 10 acre sculpture park, where the many sculptures are artistically installed in a mature cedar forest, with benches and contemplative sitting places throughout.
Come on down on July 18 for a potluck dinner and meet the artists in their environment. Iam still working towards a solo exhibit at Jansen Art Center in Lynden opening this October, watch for future PatternArt Studio News blogposts.
